The newly formed Houston-based non-profit Texas Charter School Development (TCSD) will serve as a one-stop-shop facility solution for a growing number of emerging charter schools in Houston. We are the only facility development non-profit organization in Texas that can provide strategic facilities planning, project management, and access to capital for charter schools, all under one roof. We are excited to share that Ivan Zapata has joined us as our founding Project Director for TCSD. He will work closely with me, James Heugas, and the rest of the PCSD team to advance our mission of creating long-term facilities solutions aimed at dismantling systemic inequality and expanding educational opportunities in under-resourced communities.
